"Ask New Orleans" (2022) French Quarter New Orleans Sessions
The title track of Amy Dee's most live in New Orleans recordings with a French Quarter jazz trio says it all, "We're gonna have a Big Time tonight." Recorded in New Orleans with master of keys Bill Malchow, the inimitable horn player Aurora Nealand and held up by Ted Long on bass. 5 Songs are in post production; awaiting the budget for a few more songs. "Come With Me" (2018) Bluegrass Sessions
For this album, Amy Dee teamed up with some of the area’s finest musicians starting with multi-instrumentalist Jimmy Heffernan. Based in Nashville, Jimmy toured in Joe Diffie’s band for a decade, then with Brad Paisley, Lucinda Williams, playing venues from The Grand Ole Opry to Lincoln Center. Other fine musicians include Gary Oleyar, Bobby Baxmeyer (banjo), Larry Feldman (fiddle), Mike Hlatky (bass), Dave Ziler (guitar, mandolin), and Amy Estel Cons (harmony), and more. The album was co-produced by Heffernan and Ziler, building on what Amy Dee calls “Heff’s Magic,” the award-winning chops of multi-instrumentalist Jimmy Heffernan.
On “Come With Me,” the tunes are full of stories and there’s that tribute song, “A Dollar’s a Dollar,” about one surprising encounter her son Jackson had with Dr. Ralph Stanley, a father of modern bluegrass before that Saturday night show at the Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival down near Cowtown in New Jersey. Amy explains, “This is a true story about one night behind the stage at the fest. Young Jackson and his friend had a “dollar trick,”… a dollar on a retractable fishing line, set up. Dr. Ralph was on his way to the men’s room. Ralph Stanley figured it out, ripped off the dollar, and stuck it in his pocket, looked at my son and said, “A Dollar’s a Dollar, Boy.” I watched this play out and the kids turned to me and said, “Mom, that guy stole our dollar!” I turned into a lesson for my son about the value of a dollar.” This album has a dedication to Dr. Ralph Stanley, of The Stanley Brothers, who passed away during this project. The songwriter also pays tribute to local organizations like The Brandywine Friends of Bluegrass and Old-Time Music and The Philadelphia Folksong Society.

"Southern Routes" (2017 ) Breaux Bridge, Louisiana Sessions
Amy Dee chose to record these tunes with members of The Revelers, a supergroup made up of members of The Red Stick Ramblers and The Pine Leaf Boys (Grammy nominees and winners). These songs were recorded in Louisiana's Cajun Country. You may have seen these superb musicians as the house band in Season 3 of HBO's "Treme." The music features Daniel Coolik (fiddle, mandolin, guitar), Chas Justus (guitar), Eric Frey (Upright Bass), and Glenn Fields (drums). “The Revelers” are what Louisianians call the costumed participants in Mardi Gras “crewes” (in New Orleans) and “runs” (in Cajun Country). These guys play it all: Swing, Honky-Tonk, Old Country Blues, Swamp Pop and Cajun, are wonderful songwriters, and are amazing musicians to work with. Released February 2017
"Thanks to the support at CD release events for "Southern Routes," the album Amy recorded in Louisiana during Mardi Gras Week with members of The Revelers. She donated almost $200 in CD proceeds to the Bucks County Homeless Shelter. "
"Christmastime Has Come To Town" (2015)
Out of print. A 19 song Compilation CD with Amy's title track "Christmastime Has Come To Town." Amy co-produced the album with Lon Van Eaton. Van Eaton's first album on Apple Records was produced by George Harrison in 1970. Lon Van Eaton played on albums for George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Harry Nilsson, Carly Simon, Martha Reeves and Art Garfunkel. The compilation: "Christmastime Has Come To Town" raised $1,837 for Bucks County's annual Give-A-Christmas Foundation supporting local low-income children's needs during the holiday season. Released November 2015
